Hymns for the Hungry

Several years ago, the concept of playing music with and for a purpose inspired the creation of "Hymns for the Hungry" (HFTH). At the heart of this inspiration is the simple message, "Practice hospitality, share with those in need." The model is simple, encouraging music is created and provided to support organizations that are helping those in need in their communities.

So, it sounds simple, but how does HFTH work? Since its inception, HFTH has partnered with churches, food pantries, a rescue mission, and even a historical society to provide music for canned food drives, school supply drives, or just to provide music as part of an existing program or outreach event. The music provided is tailored to the needs or style of the venue, but typically reflects a coffee shop style. HFTH traditionally supports events that are designed to help meet a physical need (E.g. hunger, poverty, lack of school supplies, etc.).

If you have an idea or concept for an event and would like reach out to Hymns for the Hungry for a potential partnership, please use the email below. Please note: contacting HFTH does not guarantee a response or a commitment to play at an event.
