Follow up from Christmas of Caring

posted Dec 18, 2010, 6:07 PM by Jonathan Dalbo

The concert last night was awesome! Not even the crummy weather could stop the outpouring of generosity exhibited by so many. New to this event were performers Mark, Ashley, Nancy, and Jan. Along with a great night of music and art, 90 toys were donated to help many refugee families in the city have a little nicer Christmas. Thank you to all who attended. I can't wait to plan the next event. Praise God!

The Autumn Showcase was a great success. I just wanted to thank Peace of the City for allowing us to partner with them for this event. Special thanks to: Toni (and company), Charles, Phil, Annie, Joel, and Lyndon for all that you do for these events. Also special thanks to Pastor Dalbo and Janice Dalbo for their contributions to this event. Thank you everybody who came out to support our growing group of musicians and Peace of the City. See you on December 17....more details to follow.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the West Seneca Food Pantry last Friday. We filled the shopping cart with food and raised some funds that will directly help the pantry. Video and pictures from the event will be posted soon. Thanks again.

Let's fill the Hymns for the Hungry CART!

A local grocery store was kind enough to donate a shopping cart for our project. This cart is now the official "Hymns for the Hungry" shopping cart. To be sure that no audience member misses it this Friday, it has been spray painted electric blue. Whatever grocery items are placed in this cart will go directly to the West Seneca Food Pantry after the concert this Friday. All of the musicians and volunteers hope to see you at the show. Thank you so much for your support.

See the home page for a slide-show that features the new cart.
